In a constant changing field, in nowadays, short – term group gestalt therapy offers a safe ground for the development of self, personal and social responsibility. In this workshop we will explore the challenges, the possibilities and the appropriate interventions which are emerging in short – term group processes. Additionally, supervision process will focus on therapy plan and methodology, field and phenomenological exploration and paradoxical changing process.

Topic: “Ethical Aspects of Clinical Supervision”

 

Supervision is the backbone of professional practice through which the integration of theory and practice become “second nature” for the therapist.  In Gestalt therapy the supervisory process is unique in that it is defined as a “co-creation”, namely – the alliance that is gradually emerging, is the focus of observation. Hence Ethics is one of the significant elements of the relationship, which tends to reflect also on the therapeutic relationship. Ethics is a sensibility that needs to developed and nurtured. It is partly cultural-based and mainly rooted in basic Humanistic values, which call for continual examination and self-critic. It entails issues of trust, privacy and loyalty as well as honesty and modesty. Since it is such a challenging aspect of the clinical work – Ethics in supervision is forever a hot topic which responsible clinicians need to cultivate.

Topic: “Supervising a Gestalt child therapist: Transforming the symptom from medical to psychotherapeutic”

In this workshop we will work on some preliminary statements as well as cases which may serve as a point of departure for further considerations of a supervision training program for Gestalt child therapists. The workshop will include basic principles of Gestalt theory and practice serving as a ground for developing common meeting places between a Gestalt child therapist and a supervisor as well as between a Gestalt child therapist and a child/family. Will be discussed questions such as what is the reason to listen to, what are the places and times of a request, what is the history of the trauma, what words and how does the body use them to express a symptom, what toys and objects were used in the session and finally which dialogues started? All participants will learn how to be supervisee following not a strict protocol, the technics and the experiments will be malleable, the framework flexible and their invention will always be active.

Topic: “A unitary perspective on the supervision situation”

In this workshop we explore how supervisor and therapist/supervisee, as interdependent part(icipant)s, co-create the supervision situation (or -field) and how they are influenced by the situation they co-create, at the same time. This implies that supervisor and therapist, while the therapist describes the situation with its client, explore the co-created situation, in which therapist and supervisor are situated. Both the situation of the therapist with its client and the situation of the therapist with the supervisor are subject of exploration and awareness. With this unitary field perspective, we bring our attention to the moments when a parallel process appears. When a repetitive and splitting behavior emerges and the unitary field loses its Wholeness. How, in particular, the process of transference and counter-transference can split the Wholeness when it does not come in to awareness. We supervise from a phenomenological attitude. By approaching the phenomena that occur without immediately wanting to understand and grasp them in any theoretical or classifying construction. To remain curious not only about the interpersonal dynamic, but also for the wider social, cultural and political field from which the phenomena present themselves. How this contributes to the created supervision situation. And how the Wholeness can be restored.

We have moment by moment opportunities to make contact or to withdraw. We all have strengths and opportunities for growth throughout our lives - personally and professionally. Arnold Beisser believed the quality of our lives depends on how much time we spend in what is pleasurable and nourishing and how much time we focus on what is difficult and painful without denying those challenges. For him, to focus on what he couldn’t do was depressing. He chose to pay attention to what he could do. The work this weekend can be a chance to take an inventory (without judgment) on how you are and potential choices to create yourself in the next moment.

Θέμα: «Η Συνάντηση»

Υπάρχω μέσα στον κόσμο. Επηρεάζομαι από τον Άλλο και τον επηρεάζω. Κινούμαι προς τον άλλο. Αποζητώ μία συνάντηση. Κάποιες φορές γίνομαι ο Άλλος και χάνω τον εαυτό μου. Υψώνω τείχη. Κλείνομαι. Ταλαντεύομαι. Μένω μόνος. Άλλες φορές, επιλέγω να αφεθώ. Ανοίγομαι σε ό,τι συμβαίνει, στο διαφορετικό, στο απρόβλεπτο. Το καλοδέχομαι. Ο Άλλος γίνεται Εσύ. Σχετίζομαι μαζί σου. Ριψοκινδυνεύω να μεταμορφωθώ από τη συνάντησή μας. Συνυπάρχουν ενδοβολές, προβολές, συμβολές κι αναστροφές. Παρά τα εμπόδια, επιδιώκω να συναντηθούμε. Δεν είμαι πια μόνος. Είμαστε μαζί. Θέμα: «ΕΑΥΤΟΣ... ένα δημιουργικό φαινόμενο»

"Στην κοινωνία του σήμερα με τους γρήγορους ρυθμούς και τις συνεχείς αλλαγές υπάρχει η τάση να θεωρούμε τον εαυτό ως μια σταθερά για να αισθανθούμε ασφάλεια. Η πραγματική του δύναμη όμως είναι ότι πρόκειται για μια οντότητα σε συνεχή ροή και κίνηση μέσα στην αλληλεπίδραση με το περιβάλλον (επαφή) και στην απόσυρση όπου γίνεται αφομοίωση της εμπειρίας. Η οντότητα του εαυτού ξεπερνά τα όρια του ατόμου και εκτείνεται στο πλαίσιο της οικογένειας, της ομάδας, της κοινότητας. Μαζί θα περιηγηθούμε με βιωματικό τρόπο στις λειτουργίες του εαυτού (Εκείνο / id - Εγώ / Ego - Προσωπικότητα / Personality) ώστε να ανακαλύψουμε πώς αυτός επηρεάζεται όταν εμφανίζονται εμπόδια στον κύκλο της επαφής. Τι άραγε μπορεί να συμβεί όταν ένας εξωτερικός παράγοντας προσφέρει τη στήριξη που χρειάζεται το Εγώ;”

Θέμα: «Το παιχνίδι των ρόλων»

Αλλάζουν οι καιροί κι οι εποχές,

πληρώνουν οι μέρες τον σκοπό τους, 

σπέρμα 'πομένουν στις επόμενες, 

σαν αναμνήσεις άσπρες  - μαύρες 

απ' ότι έχουμε υπάρξει ως τα σήμερα. 

Κουνούσα το κορμί μου ρυθμικά 

με κάτι μικρές διακοπές στην κίνηση, 

σαν να μην είχαν συμφωνήσει 

κορμί- ψυχή- δυο ξένοι- να συμφιλιωθούν. 

Έπρεπε να διαλέξω. 

Καμιά αλλαγή δεν είναι ολόκληρη, 

μέσα της κουβαλάει κάτι απ’ τα παλιά, 

που πάντοτε αναδύεται την πιο κατάλληλη 

στιγμή, 

σαν υπενθύμιση της αναπόφευκτης 

συνάρτησης, 

Είμαι! Είμαι; Θα γίνω ποτέ;

Ο στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η κατανόηση της ανθρώπινης συμπεριφοράς μέσα από τον Κύκλο της Εμπειρίας (Zinker, 1977). Η επίγνωση των σταδίων του Κύκλου αποτελεί μοχλό ενδυνάμωσης στη διαδικασία της εξέλιξής μας ως άτομα. Κάθε εμπειρία, που βιώνουμε είτε σαν μεμονωμένα άτομα είτε σαν ομάδα, αφήνει το ίχνος της στη διαδικασία αυτή. Η επίγνωση (Perls, 1940) του συναισθήματος που βιώνουμε, μετατρέπεται σε κινητοποίηση για δράση, μέσα από κάποια αλλαγή στην ισχύουσα κατάσταση, προσεγγίζοντας την επαφή, την ικανοποίηση και σταδιακά την απόσυρση πριν την ανάδυση μιας καινούργιας πρόκλησης, μιας άγνωστης σε μας θετικής ή αρνητικής εμπειρίας.

Αυτή ακριβώς η ατέρμονη κίνηση στον Κύκλο της Εμπειρίας αποτελεί την αναζήτησή μας για εξισορρόπηση του συστήματος μέσα στο οποίο λειτουργούμε ως μέλη, πολλές φορές κάτω από αντιστάσεις και αντίξοες συνθήκες.

Στον κύκλο αυτό της αναζήτησης συναντιόμαστε και ομαδοποιούμαστε πολλές φορές ανεξάρτητα από το αν στην πραγματικότητα μοιραζόμαστε όμοια στοιχεία και χωρίς απαραίτητα να αλληλοεπιδρούμε ανάμεσά μας, αναπτύσσοντας, ωστόσο, την αίσθηση της ολότητας και συμπληρώνουμε τυχόν κενά. Αναδυόμαστε μέσα από τις ανάγκες μας, τους προβληματισμούς μας...

...και συνεχίζουμε την προσπάθεια να ισορροπήσουμε...

Θέμα: «Από τον σπόρο στο δέντρο: η δημιουργική διαδικασία της ομάδας στην ψυχοθεραπεία Gestalt»

Οι σπόροι που γίναν δέντρα, προσφέρουν με τη σειρά τους, τους δικούς τους καρπούς. Όταν ένα δέντρο έχει συνθήκες ευνοϊκές θα καρποφορήσει και μάλιστα σε μεγάλες ποσότητες. Ωστόσο, κάθε δέντρο μέσα στο ίδιο δάσος, μπορεί να βρίσκεται εκτεθειμένο σε λιγότερο ή περισσότερο ήλιο, σε λιγότερη ή περισσότερη θρεπτική τροφή. Και θα περίμενε κανείς ότι αντίστοιχη θα ήταν και η προσφορά του σε καρπούς. Εδώ όμως συντελείται η μαγεία, μας λένε οι επιστήμονες (Wall Kimmerer, 2020). Αν ανθίσει ένα δέντρο, ανθίζουν όλα μαζί. Όχι μόνο ένας οπωρώνας, ένα δάσος, αλλά τα δάση σε όλη την άφθονη έκταση μιας συγκεκριμένης χώρας. Τα δέντρα είναι όντα συλλογικά. Όπως και οι άνθρωποι. Έχουμε μέσα μας, βιολογικά και κοινωνικά, την ικανότητα να ερχόμαστε κοντά, να συναντιόμαστε.

Για εμάς κάθε συνάντηση της ομάδας είναι μια δημιουργία. Με τις εμπειρίες μας στον κόσμο της ομάδας, την πορεία και το μονοπάτι μας, γινόμαστε κάθε φορά μέρος μιας φρέσκιας και άρα δημιουργικής διαδικασίας. Με αυτή την εργασία, ως τρίτο έτος Θεσσαλονίκης, θα αποπειραθούμε να παρουσιάσουμε τη γόνιμη διαδικασία που είναι η δημιουργία, η ανάπτυξη και η δυναμική της ομάδας μέσα στην ψυχοθεραπεία Gestalt. Και πώς παρά (ή και με αυτά) τα διαφορετικά σημεία εκκίνησης του ατόμου, ως ομάδα φτιάχνουμε και συναποτελούμε ένα δέντρο πολύτιμο και ζωντανό, μαγικά μοναδικό.

Θέμα: "e-ΜΠΕΙΡΙΑ: Σύνδεση; Αποσύνδεση;"

Η αυξημένη διαθεσιμότητα και χρήση των εκθετικά αναπτυσσόμενων νέων τεχνολογιών επικοινωνίας, έχει πυροδοτήσει μια πρωτοφανή και συνεχή ανάγκη για δημιουργική προσαρμογή σε όλα τα επίπεδα του σχετίζεσθαι (ενδοπροσωπικό, διαπροσωπικό, διομαδικό, κοινωνικό). Αδιαμφισβήτητα, υπάρχουν πολλαπλά οφέλη από την ενίσχυση της επικοινωνίας μεταξύ των ανθρώπων. Παρατηρώντας ωστόσο το βίωμα της επαφής μας με την τεχνολογία και την επαφή μας με το περιβάλλον μέσω της τεχνολογίας, αντιλαμβανόμαστε το αναπόφευκτο του κατακερματισμού της εμπειρίας του εαυτού, των άλλων και του κόσμου. Φαινόμενα όπως η εξάρτηση, η διάσπαση προσοχής αλλά και η μειωμένη ικανότητα δημιουργίας ουσιαστικών σχέσεων μοιάζουν ως μοιραίο επακόλουθο αυτής της εποχής.

Πώς οι νέες τεχνολογίες και τα smartphones επηρεάζουν τη συνολική εμπειρία ζωής ενός ατόμου και την ικανότητά του να συνδέεται; Με ποιο τρόπο μπορεί να αφομοιωθούν τα εργαλεία που μας γίνονται διαθέσιμα με τις νέες τεχνολογίες; Ας αναζητήσουμε τρόπους προς μια πιο ολοκληρωμένη και ικανοποιητική εμπειρία του εαυτού και των άλλων μέσα σε ένα διαρκώς μεταβαλλόμενο πεδίο.

Θέμα: «Η θεραπευτική σχέση: ένας δημιουργικός χώρος κ χρόνος καταστροφής κ συν-δημιουργίας νοημάτων»

Σύμφωνα με το Sichera (1996), η δημιουργικότητα είναι ένα ουσιώδες χαρακτηριστικό της εμπειρίας της επαφής. Είναι μια ποιότητα της εμπειρίας του πεδίου, μια ιδιότητα της εμπειρίας που δεν μπορεί να απομονωθεί από το πλαίσιο στο οποίο εμφανίζεται. Ό,τι συμβαίνει στο πεδίο είναι από μόνο του δημιουργικό, γιατί χωρίς την δημιουργική συμμετοχή των υποκειμένων δεν υπάρχει επαφή, δεν υπάρχει εμπειρία ούτε σχέση.

Πώς πραγματώνεται η δημιουργικότητα στη θεραπευτική σχέση; Πως συνδυάζονται η μοναδικότητα της κάθε θεραπευόμενης και ταυτόχρονα το θάρρος της θεραπεύτριας για δημιουργικά άλματα; Με φάρο τα παραπάνω ερωτήματα θα περιηγηθούμε στις πρώτες επιρροές των θεραπευτών Gestalt ως προς την έννοια της δημιουργικότητας και πώς αυτές ενσωματώνονται στη θεραπεία. Θα διερευνήσουμε πώς αναπτύσσεται δημιουργικά η θεραπευτική σχέση και κάτω από ποιες συνθήκες παρεμποδίζεται. Ρίχνοντας φως σε διαφορετικές ομάδες θεραπευόμενων, θα εστιάσουμε στην ποικιλία και μοναδικότητα των ατόμων και στον τρόπο που επηρεάζει δημιουργικά τη θεραπευτική σχέση.

Θέμα: “Η Θεωρία Εαυτού in vivo”

Ο Paul Goodman συνέβαλε στη θεωρία εαυτού της Gestalt με διάφορους τρόπους, κυρίως επεκτείνοντας ορισμένες από τις ιδρυτικές ιδέες του Fritz Perls και αποστασιοποιώντας περαιτέρω τη θεωρία από την ψυχαναλυτική της βάση. Το θεμελιώδες κείμενό του «Gestalt Therapy: Excitement and Growth in the Human Personality» (Goodman, Perls & Ralph Hefferline, 1951) εισήγαγε τις ιδέες της «δημιουργικής προσαρμογής» και του «αυτόνομου κριτηρίου», που είναι κεντρικές για τη δική του, διαφορετική οπτική. Παράλληλα, οι Perls, Hefferline και Goodman (1951) ορίζουν τον εαυτό ως σύστημα επαφής. Mια αρκετά καινοτόμος άποψη σε σύγκριση με άλλες μορφές ψυχοθεραπείας που αντιλαμβάνονται τον εαυτό ως οντότητα και όχι ως διαδικασία όπως προτείνει η Gestalt. Ο εαυτός στη Gestalt είναι επαφή, πιο συγκεκριμένα επαφή στο όριο μεταξύ οργανισμού και περιβάλλοντος. Το όριο «δεν είναι απομονωμένο από το περιβάλλον, έρχεται σε επαφή με το περιβάλλον, ανήκει και στο περιβάλλον και στον οργανισμό». Η θεωρία εαυτού στη Gestalt προτείνει ότι: ο εαυτός κατανοείτε κυρίως στη διαδικασία προς το σχηματισμό της μορφής και λιγότερο στις διαδικασίες αφομοίωσης και απόσυρσης - που εμφανίστηκαν αργότερα - θεμελιώδεις στην περιγραφή και την κατανόηση της διαδικασίας της επαφής (Clarkson and Mackewen, 1993).

Προκειμένου να πραγματοποιήσει το δυναμικό ανάπτυξής του, ο εαυτός υποστηρίζεται από τρεις δομές, δηλαδή το Ego, το Id και την Προσωπικότητα (personality), που μπορούν να περιγραφούν ως πτυχές ή λειτουργίες του εαυτού.

Η λειτουργία Id αφορά την κατάσταση αίσθησης όπου τα συναισθήματά μας θα μπορούσαν να είναι εκτός συνείδησης.

Η λειτουργία Ego είναι η σκόπιμη κατάσταση, η οποία υποστηρίζει την κινητοποίηση προς την πραγματοποίηση επαφής στο εδώ και τώρα.

Η λειτουργία Προσωπικότητας (personality) είναι το σενάριο της ζωής μας, οι εμπειρίες της ζωής μας που έχουν συμβάλει στη δημιουργία στάσεων, συμπεριφορών και στερεοτύπων μας που προκύπτουν στη διαδικασία της επαφής, συχνά λόγω συνειδητοποίησης. Πώς συνδιαλέγεται το ego, το id και το personality, κατά τη διάρκεια μιας συνεδρίας και τι επιφέρει αυτό στον ψυχισμό μας;

Ένα παιχνίδι διαλόγου μεταξύ των τριών λειτουργιών του Εαυτού θεραπευτή και θεραπευόμενου κατά τη διάρκεια μιας συνεδρίας θα προσπαθήσει να προσεγγίσει τη θεμελιώδη θεωρία Εαυτού της gestalt μέσα από τη συμμετοχή του Διαδικτυακού και της Λάρισας Β έτος για στο 25ο συνέδριο της Gestalt.

Θέμα: «Διαδρομές… μετ' εμποδίων»

Μηχανισμοί άμυνας... Εμπόδια στην επαφή... Τρόποι επαφής...

Είναι μόνο το όνομά τους που άλλαξε μέσα στα χρόνια ή είναι και ο τρόπος που τα βλέπουμε που άλλαξε; Και τι γίνεται όταν βρίσκουμε "άλλους" τρόπους να κάνουμε επαφή;

Οι φοιτητές του 1ου έτους της Θεσσαλονίκης αποφάσισαν να μοιραστούν το πώς φαντάζονται διάφορες συναναστροφές με και χωρίς τα Εμπόδια στην επαφή.

Μας προσκαλούν, λοιπόν, να παρακολουθήσουμε μερικές σύντομες σκηνές που θα μπορούσαν να είναι κομμάτι της καθημερινότητας όλων μας.

Θέμα: «Μονάκριβη, δική μου: Η Εμπειρία»

Η μοναδικότητα της εμπειρίας: η εμπειρία ως ένα προσωπικό αφήγημα, που κατασκευάζεται και ανασκευάζεται από εμάς, μέσα από εμάς, μέσα σε εμάς σε κάθε εδώ και τώρα.

Θέμα: «Μελετώντας την περίπτωση της ομάδας μας: …από τη ρήξη στην επανόρθωση…»

Ρίχνοντας τη ματιά μας στην ιστορία της εκπαιδευτικής μας ομάδας και πώς αυτή χαράχτηκε στο σώμα του συλλογικού μας βιώματος, εντοπίζουμε διαφορετικά στάδια στην ανάπτυξή της όσον αφορά τη συνοχή, την εμπιστοσύνη, την ανταπόκριση, συμβολή, διαφοροποίηση...ανακαλύπτουμε ακόμα τις στιγμές ευαλωτότητας όπου συνέβησαν οι ρήξεις και τα σημεία και τους τρόπους επανόρθωσης. Θα εστιάσουμε στο πώς οι έννοιες της θεραπείας Gestalt, όπως η οργανισμική αυτορρύθμιση, επίγνωση, επαφή, εδώ και τώρα, που μας στηρίζουν σε όλη μας την κοινή διαδρομή από το φόντο της εμπειρίας μας, νοηματοδοτούν τα επίπεδα ανάπτυξης και συνοχής… πώς πλάι στο σχεσιακό και υπαρξιακό διάλογο βοηθούν σε αυτά τα προχωρήματα και τις αλλαγές στη δυναμική της ομάδας, θεραπεύοντας κάθε στιγμή τις αναπόφευκτες ρωγμές στον κορμό της εμπειρίας.

Θέμα: «Υπαρξιακή μοναξιά… Από την αγωνία στη δημιουργία…»

Πώς η υπαρξιακή μοναξιά ως ανθρώπινη κατάσταση αντανακλά τη θέση ότι το άτομο είναι πάντοτε μόνο και βασικά διαχωρισμένο από τους άλλους, ένα μοναχικό ανθρώπινο ον; Πώς η καθολική εμπειρία της υπαρξιακής μοναξιάς βιώνεται στην απουσία οποιασδήποτε σχέσης; Πώς η υπαρξιακή μοναξιά ως διαδικασία εσωτερικής ανάπτυξης αφορά το μετασχηματισμό της αρνητικής εμπειρίας σε θετική;

We are constantly creating our reality through awareness and the choices we make.  Our internal experiences are an integral part of the world we live in. We have moment by moment opportunities to make contact or to withdraw. We all have strengths and opportunities for growth throughout our lives - personally and professionally. Arnold Beisser believed the quality of our lives depends on how much time we spend in what is pleasurable and nourishing and how much time we focus on what is difficult and painful without denying those challenges. For him, to focus on what he couldn’t do was depressing. He chose to pay attention to what he could do. The work this weekend can be a chance to take an inventory (without judgment) on how you are and potential choices to create yourself in the next moment.
